Karen Aragon

aragonk picKaren Aragon was born and raised in California.  In 1999, her professional journey in the field of education began.  She traveled abroad to Japan and taught English in both the private and public sector for two years.  After returning to the U.S.A. in 2001, Karen tried her hand in the business world, but found that her passion was, in truth, in education.  She returned to school and received her M.A. in Education and her teaching credential.  Since, 2004, Karen has held several positions in education--some of which include the following: English Teacher, WASC Coordinator, AVID Coordinator, Adult Education Site Coordinator, Summer School Site Coordinator, and Director.

  • Supervises student discipline and attendance.

  • Assists in evaluation of classified and certificated staff as assigned.

  • Coordinates use, construction, repair and maintenance of grounds and facilities.

  • Assists in coordination and supervision of co-curricular program.

  • Maintains student records.

  • Coordinates Short Term Independent Studies, summer school and home teaching.
